While you are first beginning out and you observe that the game is extremely loose, it wouldn't be a worst plan to yet wait away from hands similar to 57s, etc. You would yet desire to play KJs, QTs, and JTs. If you are able to control yourself to just play those loose hands in the back (late position), after that you would be playing perfectly.
Yet a hand similar to A5s in the last position is a huge hand if everybody is in. So here are a few common Texas holdem strategies for how loose to play:
Standard Game (4/5 players in the flop): play your best pairs, small pairs, big cards and suited connectors. Extremely Loose Game (7+ players in the flop): play simply about anything according to the exact position. Use good hands which are best for that exact position. Wait for the flop to provide you a truly best hand or draw and then create them pay.
The main point here is to keep in mind how loose your cards prior to the flop are based on two things: your position and the total of players in the hand prior to you. The more players in, the weaker your hand can be.

According to the Texas Hold'em rules one of the most common mistakes done by the beginners is playing too many hands. Playing too many hands will not yield too much money. If it had been like that then the term fold would have vanished at all. Think rationally and fold more in holdem poker if you want to save your losses. Some players though for the want of being in action do not fold their cards. This is really the most erroneous thing that you can do to your game. If you are playing more thinking that you might win a lot, hold back, as you are going to lose more in Texas holdem poker. You have to learn a lot on how to fold more hands in holdem poker if you are staying in more than half the hands you are dealt with. Even if you fold more in holdem poker the hands in early positions, be happy that you have saved big money from losses ruining the game.
You have to play tight as your opponents can read your cards with much skill and expertise. By now you must be aware of the fact that folding more hands is of course a good strategy.
