The poker strategy that every player should undeniably understand is with being smart in deciding the starting hand that is worth to be played. Next to understanding the best hands, it is important to understand the concept of pot odds as a part of one’s poker strategy. Also to be considered in the list of poker strategy is betting styles and poker tells. Poker strategy in terms of starting hands means playing just those hands that will yield result. A starting hand that is best in Texas holdem may not be good in Omaha or stud. Each variant of poker has a different set of good starting hands and bad hands. So every player should understand the best and worse hands in any particular game. Getting to know the best and worse hands will go a long way is saving one from loosing unnecessary money in gambling. What should I do after I have mastered to recognize a playable hand?
Poker strategy lies with identifying the motives of the players at the table and in making out what hand they could possibly have them play accordingly. The best of poker strategy will be to throw away a hand that is not worthy to be played. |
